About

Hello, I’m Kate. I find the good bits.

The places, details and small choices that make a trip memorable, without making the planning complicated.

Copenhagen, then London

I was born in Copenhagen and have lived in London for most of my life. I work as a creative brand consultant, which mostly means helping things work out what they are, and, more usefully, what they are not.

I notice things, and I can’t seem to stop: the café that’s quietly better than the famous one next door, the street that’s prettier at nine than at noon, the room in the museum everyone walks straight past. I’m also the person who will gently close forty of your forty-seven open tabs.

So I don’t collect places. I choose them. A good trip isn’t a checklist with a flight attached. It’s a handful of very good choices, in a sensible order, with enough room left over to wander, because the best part of a day is often the bit nobody planned.

That’s what my editions are: the version I’d want handed to me before I go. Fewer, better things. Everything else is optional.

— K.

How I travel

Three rules I don’t break. Well, rarely.

  • 01

Luxury is the backdrop, not the message.

A beautiful hotel is lovely. The right neighbourhood is better, because it improves every single day, not just the evenings you spend in your room.

  • 02

Save on friction. Spend on memories.

Currency-conversion fees, bad transfers and avoidable mistakes add nothing. The meal, the place, the moment you'll still talk about in ten years: that's where the money should go.

  • 03

    One great thing a day.

Give each day one anchor and keep it in one part of the city. Whitespace isn't a planning failure. It's where the trip actually happens.

Why these exist

Planning shouldn’t need forty saved videos.

Most trips go wrong in the planning: too much information, and no way to turn it into days that make sense. So I make the things I’d want myself. A guide that filters the city down. A route that puts it in the right order. A planner for everything else.

I’m not trying to give you everything. I’d rather leave out what doesn’t deserve your time, so the good things have room.

London is home. Paris and Amsterdam are a short train ride away, and each one gets the same treatment: what’s worth it, what isn’t, and what to do if it rains.

How the editions are made

  • Researched, then cut

Every recommendation is checked against official sources, then most of them are removed. What's left is the good part.

  • Dated, honestly

Each city edition carries a Last Checked date. Opening hours change; the guide tells you what to recheck before you go.

  • Less searching, more travelling

Travel planning shouldn't mean 47 open tabs. Every edition is designed to narrow the choices down to the places, routes and details actually worth your time.

  • Made to be used

Phone-friendly PDFs and fillable, printable planners, so they work the way you actually travel.
